My name is Abikenova Zhanar Zhambylovna. I was born in 1981 in the Almaty region. I graduated from Koshkunov Secondary School. I entered the L. Gumilyov Eurasian University to study “Foreign Languages: Two Foreign Languages” as a French language teacher in 1999. I graduated with honors from the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Abylai Khan, with a degree in “Foreign Languages: Two Foreign Languages” as a French teacher in 2003. I entered the Master’s program at Abylai Khan KazUIRWL, specializing in “Higher School Pedagogy” in 2005. The topic of my research work was “Training Future French Language Teachers in Francophone Countries.” I began my first professional experience at Abylai Khan KazUIRWL, as a French language instructor in the Romano-Germanic Philology Department in 2004. From 2006 to 2015, I worked at T. Ryskulov KazEU. From 2015 to 2017, I worked at K. Satpayev KazNITU. I have been working at al-Farabi KazNU as a French language instructor since 2018. I have articles indexed in Scopus from September 2023 and February 2024: https://doi.org/10.36941/ajis-2023-0149 and https://doi.org/10.1007/s11196-024-10115-5. Additionally, I have other scholarly articles published in KKSON journals and other bulletins. I attend professional development courses annually and receive certificates. I am a member of the jury for national French language Olympiads and part of a working group that oversees the quality of French language textbooks for school students in Kazakhstan. I am the author of “Standard Programs in the French Language.” I have been awarded a Letter of Appreciation from the I. Altynsarin Academy of Education.
